We got the green light from Motor Sport SA, MSA has put forward a number of conditions which we would need to adhere to, all of which will ensure a more professional run event. Our aim is to not only meet the MSA requirements, but exceed all expectations.
For us as the organisors, we need to ensure all requirements are met for the 2009 event to run smoothly throughout, we believe it’s going to take a combined effort from the following parties involved:

Drivers - We would like to thank all drivers who took part in the 2008 event, it is said with great pride that 2008 had a record number of entries, with just over 100 entries coming in. It is great to see such enthusiasm amongst drivers and look forward to setting new records each year on.

Sponsors - We thank all the businesses who came onboard as sponsors for the 2008 event, without your support, hosting an event of this nature would not be possible. After the 2008 event, it was good to see such fantastic support from sponsors,with the majority of sponsors giving positive feedback, looking at how they could be more involved and assist with various aspects of the event, all of which would contribute towards making 2009 the most successfull event ever.

Spectators - We thank all the paying spectators who have supported the event over the years, we know who you are and to show our appreciation, we will be giving you a discount on tickets for 2009. One of MSA’s conditions is that access control would have to be jacked up for 2009, access controll has been a major issue each year and serious measures will be implimented to stop those entering the pass without a ticket. 2008 saw an estimate 4000 spectators gain access without purchasing a ticket. Even though the access control over the event weekend will be jacked up big time, we ask all those who have attended any of the past events without purchasing tickets,to please change your mind set, the reason why we charge an entry fee is because the event has high overheads and if we all work together, I can promise you this event will only grow year on year.

This year we are taking no chances, tickets will not be on sale at the event, ticket prices will be increaced allowing for a maximum of 4000 spectators per day.

Busses will run from 8:00am to 11:30am both days with no exception to latecomers. To ensure busses operate in the most effective way possible, busses will be allocated specific drop off points.
